This competition is organised and promoted by BUONISSIMO Italian Artisanal Gelato, opening in Knysna, South Africa, in May 2026 (“the Promoter”).
2. ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to all ages and open to both South African residents and international visitors.
Employees of BUONISSIMO, their immediate family members, or anyone directly connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
By entering, participants confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements.
3. HOW TO ENTER
Participants must enter the competition via the entry form on the official BUONISSIMO web page.
The web page with the entry form can be accessed by scanning the QR code displayed on our shop window in Knysna or found in any of our official social media posts.
Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries by the same individual will be disqualified.
Entries will remain open until the Grand Opening in May 2026. The winner will be announced at the opening on this date. The exact date and time will be confirmed at a later stage.
4. THE RIDDLE
The riddle is based on the text displayed on our shop window, website, and social media:
“We have the courage to do it in front of everyone. No secrets, just pure craftsmanship, made fresh before your eyes. Some things are better done in secret… this isn’t one of them. Watch us create creamy perfection, live, every day.”
The correct answer refers to the product or concept described in the riddle.
Only entries that submit the correct answer will qualify for the prize draw.
5. PRIZE DETAILS
The first 50 participants to answer correctly will each receive a voucher via e-mail.
Each voucher is valid for one (1) Bubble Waffle, given the participant brings a friend with them. The friend’s order will be for their own account.
Correct entries submitted after the first 50 will still be recorded and may be entered into the random draw for the grand prize.
The grand prize winner will receive a R500 voucher to spend at BUONISSIMO in Knysna, South Africa.
Vouchers may not be exchanged for cash, transferred, or used in conjunction with any other promotion.
6. WINNER SELECTION
The first 50 entrants providing the correct answer will be announced on social media and notified via the e-mail address provided on their entry form.
The grand prize winner will be selected using a randomiser web plugin to ensure a fair and transparent draw.
The grand prize winner will be announced on social media and publicly at the official opening of BUONISSIMO in December 2025.
The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. PRIZE COLLECTION
Winners will be contacted via e-mail with instructions on how to collect their vouchers.
Vouchers must be collected and redeemed by 31 August 2026.
Proof of identity may be required upon collection.
8. DATA & PRIVACY
By entering, participants consent to BUONISSIMO collecting their name and contact details for the purpose of administering the competition and notifying winners.
Personal data will not be sold, shared, or distributed to any third parties.
Entrants may receive occasional updates or promotional offers from BUONISSIMO but may opt out at any time.
9. GENERAL
BUONISSIMO reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not received due to technical issues, human error, or any other cause beyond its control.
